Christmas

Chapter 2 ~ Class Decorating

The next day.
I felt a little bit frustrated. First of all, I only brought glue and scissors and yet I didn't use the glue, darn.
Second, I'm the one that held the 'double tape' so I'm always running towards anyone that calls my name in search of the 'double tape', I feel like I'm in
some place that really made me sick, yuck. Third, since I'm really exhausted, I slept too long this afternoon and I didn't take my extra lesson. "What could possibly go wrong?" maybe that's what my brother would say and maybe I'll answer "Anything. If you don't do the right way." Ah well, let's head on back to this morning at school.

My teacher came to school late, as usual. Our class president and vice president (even that class security guard or something like that) went out to check on Mr. Herman, meanwhile the class was left alone, without anyone to guard it. The class became noisy.
Me and Berry just sat there, being quiet. Even my partner was being noisy with all the weird guys there. Everyone felt they were free, free from surveillance of our teacher and the class staff. The class president, Nicholas, didn't even looked inside to calm my classmates down, he was outside standing and waiting for Mr. Herman to come. Ah, I can't even stand it anymore. What a foolish class president, must be lacking experience in leadership, I whisper to myself.

A few minutes later, the class president started running inside our class and yelled, "Mr. Herman is coming! Mr. Herman is coming!"
Then, everyone started to sit down and didn't say a word, not even one. What the heck? Well, that's convincing enough. Everyone just started to sit down in silence. Haaah, at least it's better than 10 minutes ago. I whispered softly to myself. At first, I didn't actually believed what Nicholas said, but then Mr. Herman came in. And the 'row leader of the day' started shouting, "Rise! Greet teacher and friends!" We all answered, "Good morning, Mr. Herman!"

After the lessons (actually there was only Math lessons) have been finished, we all started to decorate the classroom. Lots of Christmas decor was brought to school. Me, Nicholas and Jose were sent by our teacher to coordinate the classroom decoration. But I did the opposite, I actually looked like a servant, not a coordinator. Ah, whatever. I don't really care too much.
There was a sock hanging in front of our classroom. And some chains made out of origami paper. We even made the longest chain we've ever seen before, it started from one end of the class to the other, man it was so cool. I've never imagined it would be that long. And some plaits made of crepe paper. And there was one color that looked like one of the ice-cream color, hahaha, that was funny. We also made ribbons, special writings and we even putted down a small Christmas tree in Mr. Herman's desk.

After all that ruckus was done, everyone cleaned up the class. Me and the Flag ceremony team members went out training and yet it was so hot! Whew, I just can't stand the heat. And to top it off, I had a sore throat so I can't speak to loud and the training went crazy. The flag ceremony is going to be held at December 14th, but Mr. Bosco canceled it till January. Once again I muttered, Uugh, What a drag!
