Chapter 5 ~ Town Square

The next day, Mr. Reinhard and Mr. Johann came here again. What a drag, why the heck do they keep coming here? I asked myself. "Because, they have some business to take care with your uncle and my brother." said Ms. Rosalind while bringing a tray full of tea cups, full tea cups. I looked at her while she stopped walking and sighed. She smiled and continued to walk towards my uncle's office. After she came out from my uncle's office, she put down the empty tray on the table.
" 'What a drag, why the heck do they keep coming here?' is what you said, am I correct?" she asked me. I was still surprised. Why can Ms. Rosalind hear my thoughts. I never knew she had that kind of ability. I nodded. She sighed and laughed.
"Hahahaha, since that day I can listen to other people's thoughts. and I can't hold back to answer or at least laugh at what they're saying in their mind." said Ms. Rosalind calmly. I sighed of relief. Ms. Rosalind just smiled innocently and stood up, she walked towards her room and the living room became empty. I laid down on the big sofa, it was long enough for me to fit. I just lay there looking like an empty minded sloth. Michael passed by and started to think. He sat at the couch next to the sofa (where I am currently) and smiled at me. I just look away and pretend like it never happened.
"Aww, Carmelia...You don't need to pretend. Just say that you're bored and we'll take a walk around town." said Michael while stretching his arms.
I sat at the sofa (I laid there remember?) and sighed. "Do whatever you want." I said to Michael.
He walked towards my uncle's office and came out 5 minutes later. I was sitting of boredom and Michael said, "It's been decided, we'll walk around town!"
"Wait, I go get my jacket! It's cold outside!" I said to Michael, he nodded. And I ran upstairs to get it quickly.
"Sister, Flame, We're going!" shouted Michael. "Be careful, brother!" said Ms. Rosalind. "And take care of little Li-, I mean Carmel!" Michael nodded. I almost got angry, because Ms. Rosalind was gonna call me Lia, but that name is only use by my family. And we walked toward the town.

After about 10 minutes, we reached town. I was so crowded unlike my uncle's house (it's big yet so peaceful.....too peaceful). I walked close to Michael, I don't wanna get lost, right?
We entered a big road full of shops and other stuff. "Carmelia, welcome to the town square!" said Michael. I looked around. I was amazed. There were lots of stores and shops, there was a music store, a cafe, a supermarket, a clothing store, etc.
