Chapter 8 ~ Christmas Eve

It was already Christmas Eve, I didn't even noticed it. But it's still morning though.
I went outside to take a walk.
"Jeez, Why do I have to cook the snacks and cakes?" I muttered to myself.
I felt a little bit angry today, my mom told me to cook tonight's snacks and cakes. And I actually have to buy the ingredients by myself.
"What am I gonna make for tonight? Ah, I know apple pie, Everyone loves my homemade apple pie!" I said happily.
So I skipped happily to the supermarket. But, there was a little misfortune on my way there. On my way there I met my friend, she was the most unlikeable person in my whole class, she was Vaula. Because of her slow personality and her black skin, she was often called "Long loading" or "Black Lollipop". It was a little unfair, but she's too weak, she can't even fight.
She was attacked by some gangsters that apparently likes to gang up on chicks that are weak. I stopped and watched carefully as the gangsters try to seduce Vaula.
"So, missy. Do you wanna go somewhere?" said the thin-tall one.
"I-i... I wanna go to the department store." said Vaula.
"Shopping huh? Wanna come with me? I'll take you to a very nice place." said the guy, he seemed to be the boss.
"But....but." said Vaula, she trembled of fear. I felt really angry. I want to help her, but I can't do it in the middle of town, no way, I could be arrested for that. Just when I was trying to make up my mind, a shadow passed by me. The shadow had a very familiar smell. It smells like...........Kellyn what's his name, from the C class, but I don't really know. I watched the shadow, it knocked down those guys and Vaula was saved. It vanished when I dropped to the scene.
"Vaula, are you okay?" I asked. Her eyes was sparkling of happiness.
"My knight in shining armor has finally come." she said.
Eeeh? Knight? Oh, I guess girls like her never did have boyfriends. I said to myself.
"Agnes-san, Did you see that? My knight in shining armor?" she said happily.
"Yea, why?" I said.
"He was totally awesome! He's so gonna be in my boyfriend target list." she said.
Yea, right. That was obviously Kellyn what's his name. He always save people like her. Haaah, that bad habit of his is so unlike him. I said to myself.
Vaula skipped happily and said her thanks to me. I felt a little bit confused by her personality, it was weird and un-convincing.
What a drag....Oh yeah, the groceries! I said to myself. I ran off to the supermarket and bought the ingredients for an apple pie.
On the way home, I stepped on something. I didn't know what, but I think it was meant to be stepped by me. I took it from under my right shoe. It was a note, it was covered it black ink and shoe sole so it looked like an old paper. It was a little bit faded to read, but at least I got the point of it. It said: M......t ....e a... ....he c....o...k t..........er .....t 6 ...M t.....ght. Or ....ls..
I can't really read it. But I only kept it as something to investigate. I went home and baked the apple pie, apparently it wasn't an apple pie, it was a chicken pot pie. Pie crust filled with warm filling made of chicken and some cut vegetables.
"Ehmmm, this looks nice!" said my brother.
"Eiit, don't eat until everyone is here, Nino." said my mother.
"Yes, mom." he said, bowed his head and muttered to himself.
After dinner was done, I went to my room and looked at the piece of paper again. I fell asleep after wards, cause solving the code was bothersome.
