Chapter 6 ~ Elvina's Secret

We were still heading to the music store, and Elvina is still in the same way she reacted.
It was weird and noxious. She's been like that for a while now. And it felt weird somehow, somehow we felt someone was following us. But every time we look behind, there's nobody there. Bernardine started to shiver because of the weird aura. I stayed calm and tried to find a way to ask Elvina what's going on with her. Until now, we already asked her a few questions and the answer is the same, "Don't worry guys. I'm okay." Those words are making it more suspicious. What is wrong with her? It wasn't long until we've reached the music store. It became more weird when Elvina started to talk to some strangers about something, I don't really understand what they were talking about, cause it's in some ancient language. I stared and looked at them.

Meanwhile, Bernardine was looking at some instruments and the shop keeper said, "Miss, would you like to try this instrument?"
Bernardine just looked at the instrument and didn't say a word, she was confused. That shop keeper had unfeeling eyes. It was strange. As Bernardine was about to give an answer, I stopped looking at Elvina and said to Bernardine, "Ah? Bernardine STOP! This is a trap! Don't take that instrument from him. He's trying to "fish" you into their trap!"
Bernardine didn't say a word and stood up in silence.
"Why you little midget! She was a great victim until YOU interfered! Get her!" shouted the shop keeper with an angry face. Everyone that's been hypnotized (including Elvina) attacked us. I can't fight them, cause I left my usable pocket equipment back home. And Bernardine didn't bring her weapons either. So, we fought weaponless.

Elvina tried to grab me but I was dragged by a hand. It felt really warm, I thought it was Bernardine, but it was Teresia. She also dragged Bernardine. We were surprised. "Teresia! "What are YOU doing here?" I asked.
"Saving your guts!" she replied. "Here take these it'll help!"
She gave us some weird tools, must be a new tech. At first we didn't know how to use it. Then Teresia explained, "Don't worry about using it, it will adjust to your personalities, so it will change according to your personality."
Theresia's changed into a sword, a long one, she must be a swordsmen.
Bernardine's change into a bow and an arrow, ah, her personality must resemble an archer.
Mine? Well, it did changed but it changed into a weird suit full of weapons. I didn't feel comfortable. It's a good thing there were no boys from our school. We fought them all until they all were awakened from their hypnotized state.

"Aww, man. What happened? Ouch, my head hurts!" said Elvina.
"Elvina! Your back! I'm so glad!" I said, hugging Elvina with joyful tears.
"Elvina!" said Bernardine and Teresia, they hugged her as well.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's with the hugging? Are you fans of mine?" she asked.
When Elvina said that we all released our hugs from her. We all said, "Elvina! Are you crazy?"
"Eheheh." she chuckled.
After that big ruckus was done, the four of us went shopping for some Christmas gifts for our family and friends. We bought loads of stuff. Even our hands were not enough to hold 'em all. But the good thing is, the department store (the place that we shopped) provides a cart for their costumers to hold their luggage.
After putting ALL the gifts in our carts, We (me and Bernardine) remembered about the 'things' that Teresia gave us just now.
"Hey, Teresia!" said Bernardine.
"Yeah?" answered Teresia.
"We want to return these to you." I said. We both took them out from our pockets.
"These belong to you, Teresia." said Bernardine. When we were about to give her the 'things', she stopped us and said, "Keep those."
"What?" I said.
"But it's yours, you should keep it." said Bernardine.
"No. I insist. I gave those to you. And I believe that you guys will hold on to it. Take it wherever you may go." said Teresia.
"What exactly ARE these?" I asked.
"Those are called: Undetectable weapons. It has a message, In Bernardine's, it says: 'Wherever you may go, don't forget your friends and please take care of the ones you love.' In yours, it says: 'Please always protect your loved ones every time their in trouble.' Haha, it's a gift from me. I wanted to give you those on Christmas but I guessed on times like this I have to give you immediately." she said. And we all laughed.
